One can ALWAYS spot a Lilly Barrack ring!
Edgy, contemporary, eclectic, unique, beautiful and CHUNKY will best describe this killer ring.
Lilly always starts out with a very heavy/hefty sterling silver gauge metal to construct the shank.
This new shank design is 1/2" wide at it's widest and tapers in a scalloped design.
Under the shank it is open to make it slightly adjustable. Size 7.
A large 1.75" long yellow Apatite rough cut stone lays across the edge of the ring with a small round version of itself above.
Wow, what a crazy and beautiful piece of art to wear!
I have been to Lily Barrack's studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico twice now to watch the amazing production of this beautiful jewelry.
She is my absolute favorite artist for doing contemporary jewelry artwork with stones in the rough.
All the stones are hand selected by Lily herself and each mounted in a handcrafted form to fit around the stone in bezel style.
Native Americans are employed to do all the phenomenal hand work.
Sterling silver and signed.
